Tried to put my RP-8000s and RMX 90 DVS into an Odyssey black label FX coffin, but I cannot get my supplied USB cable to go from one TT to the other's 'link' port.

A few questions:

1) Can I just connect both TTs to the USB hub on the back of the mixer?

2) Isn't the RMX 90 actually made to be used with the RP-8000s? This is a very standard coffin (FFXBM12WBL @ http://www.odysseygear.com/odyssey-products/ffxbm12wbl.html) and the only battle-style FX coffin they have that will support the width of the mixer.

3) I've tried other USB cables, and had weird results such as the cue buttons blinking and not working in the middle of my sets. Where do I get a USB that will connect my TTs and not have issues?

Hello djdennisj,

1) Yes you can link them with the RMX 90 DVS you need to press the Trax Push Knob and hold it for about 3 sec. and than select the Channel.

2) The RMX 90 DVS can be used with all kind of external equipment. Of we think it is a perfect combination as you need just one USB connection for DVS and all other Midi devices.

3) This issue might be caused by your USB-Port. I recommend you to try this with another Mac/PC.

Best regards,
