Hello,
need to ask you for help since I already spent many hours trying to fix it and no luck.

I had my PC in service and I think they used CC cleaner tool. Since then my Jockey3 does not work. I tried to re-install the driver, mapping, traktor etc.   Also updated USB drivers on my laptop.
The device still does not work.
description:

uninstalled previous drivers and begun installation of latest driver for jockey 3
before driver installation is complete, I get windows notification bubble that the device is installed
Windows updater has been turned off all the time
I get notification from reloop driver installer that all is good, need to reboot.
After rebooting laptop, I get notification that device cannot be recognized. (Code 43 or Code 10)

please help, I would like to continue using my console again..
thank you

Hello PeterHa,

Does the Output routing works. Try out to play internally the Tracks.
If sounds coming out it should be a mapping issue.
But first we need more information about what is not working.

Kind regards,

Hi Sigo, after sound driver installation for MIDI it gives error about "Device not being recognized". I am not sure if that is related to MIDI. Once I turn off/on the laptop and DJ controller, drivers seem to be in place as shown on the pictures I provided.

Hi Reloop_nick,
the Output routing shows only 1 and 2.  Sound is not coming and mapping not working. I have the lates mapping from Reloop site. Please let me know if more info is needed.

thank you both

PeterHa,

it sounds like there is something wrong with your audio-settings, driver or hardware.
Did you tried it with another PC or Mac ?
And try out another Usb Cable.
Because if it is your computer i would recommend you to contact native instruments for this error code.
I will forward you case to our development department.

Kind regards,

Nick

Ok. Please disconnect the Jockey when you reboot / start the PC!

Workflow :

Start PC
Start Jockey
connect USB
Start Traktor

Your Audio Routing is OK

Maybe there is a Problem with the USB itself . Do you use a USB 3.0 Port ?  The Jockey is not USB 3.0 compatible !  Try a USB 2.0 HUB for downgrading the Signal.
I think the Service delete or update a USB Chipset driver  so the OLD Yockey will not run.

Hello,
I have tried workflow you recommended and the result is "unknown device" in Device manager.
When I tried slightly different workflow (switched device on while already connected to USB), the Device manager looks OK, but still not reacting in TraktorPro.
here are the screenshots:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/kktyjw0nt3x39yo/screenshots%20Jockey3%20%2003Oct2017.docx?dl=0

I use Windows7, Lenovo laptop that only has USB 2.0, tried different cables, tried different USB ports.

My guess is that the driver does not install properly, but I use Reloop_Jockey3Remix_2.9.73 driver. The mapping is Jockey 3 Remix - 2-Sample Decks v1.5-WIN.tsi

The Win Update Manager is not supposed to install any drivers, but I get the impression that it does. When I install the Reloop driver, I am notified by Windows that the installation has been complete (in a different window than Reloop driver installer). That happens even before Reloop driver is installed.

Can you please recommend something?
Let me know if you need more info. I will also try with different laptop and let you know the result.

thanks a lot
Peter

Hello PeterHa,

you need to go to 'external' at the Output routing there should be all channels you need.

Kind regards,

Nick

You do not need the WDM Driver !  This is  only for Windows APP 's with sound .
Traktor uses the ASIO Driver.  Audio Device -->  Reloop ASIO !!

Did you connect the Jockey BEFORE installing the driver ??

Hi Sigo,
I had Jockey running for years on both computers, it was running without issues.
laptop#1  - there was a software cleanup that 3rd party did, I only asked for hardware cleaning but later found out they used CCleaner so that maybe caused the WDM overlay the ASIO
laptop#2 - I think Traktor was uninstalled and then installed, that is possibly the cause.

Not sure why there is WDM Driver now on both laptops.  How can I resolve this?
I already tried to uninstall everything and back again, it did not work.

thank you
Peter

Hello,
the system indeed acts like JOckey was pluged and turned on before Reloop driver installation.
How can this be fixed?

If the Jockey was connected without driver you have to cley up your system ! Connect the Jockey and go to  device manager  --> USB -->  deactivate and delete the Jockey.  Remove the ASIO driver.
Reboot the system.  Deactivate any VIRUS Scanner or Firewall !!  Install the ASIO Driver and connect the Jockey.
If using USB 3.0 Ports (or if your System got both 3.0 and 2.0 !!!) use a powered 2.0 HUB.
