I tried to upgrade the firmware on my Digital Jockey 2 Master Edition.

Windows 10 on HP notebook
Reloop Digital Jockey 2 Master Edition

I downloaded the file '224093 Firmware 28' on my new Windows 10 laptop, unpacked the zip-file, fired up the .jar and selected the 'DJME2A_V28.BIN' file. After I hit start, I saw the LED's at the tonecontrol section light up. Next the update process froze. Only the 'Loop Active' and 'Auto Loop' lights were active, but nothing else happened, The controller did not respond to any button being pushed. I never got an 'Update succesful' or 'Update completed' message.

After 30 minutes or so and with cold sweat running from my back, I decided to power off my controller and have it boot again. The controller didn't show it's regular boot-sequence with all LED's lighting up. Instead, only the 'Loop Active' buttons were on, but nothing happens anymore. The controller now doesn't respond to anything anymore. Also the Firmware Updater .jar won't work, showing no Current Firmware Version to start with. When pressing Start, the process exits with a Request Address: 0x0 message.

Is there any way to revive my Digital Jockey 2 ME? Or is it officially bricked now? :-(

Hi Gertjan,
was there any Virus Scanner or Firewall running ?  If the FW update is frozen or abort the Jockey is broken and need to be serviced .  It is like a "format C" ...
