Hello

I realise this is a discontinued product but i would like some advice.

I just picked up a C IE.  I use tractor with a Z2 and 2x F1 and wanted a jog wheel which led me to the C IE....

I have the problem that i tried to update the C IE with the java update tool as i wanted to run it on OS X 10.10.
To update the software, I ended up trying to update it on a windows xp computer using java 6 (32 bit) using the 1.04 update java tool and the CONTOUR_IF_V13.BIN firmware.
However it seemed to work updating until the end when it came up with file error.

Now the controller is stuck with the CUE button red...  doesn't matter if i unplug power/usb when i power it on our plug in the usb, the cue light is red.

I suspect its broken firmware......  any advice or is it in the bin?

I would like to add, i understand updating firmware is hit n miss, however it nuckelt that a tool can break a device when instructions were followed...

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello

After more trials i finally managed to get the contour back ;)

I re downloaded the files:

CONTOUR_IF_V13.BIN
UsbUpgDataApp_v1.04.jar

and after 15-20 attempts, it worked!

Don know why, but at least its not heading for the trash can - yet....

Now i will try and get it working on Mac OS X 10.10

Any pointers would be appreciated.

Hello katmoda,

i hope it will work well with your Mac.

Let us know about it

Please use the Reloop Contour Interface Edition_3.3.2.dmg file if your Mac requires a driver.

Kind regards,
