Hello!

I have a problem with plugging my Beatmix 2 mk2 controller into my desktop speakers.
In order to connect the controller to Creative Inspire T3100 speakers I used an RCA to female minijack adapter. Black and red cinches go into the controller's master outputs and the speakers' mini jack is sticked into the adapter's other end. I can hear the sound just right on the headphones but on the speakers there's completely no bass and lower sounds, the subwoofer doesn't play at all.

I'd be very grateful for some help as I have no idea of what might be wrong. Thanks in advance.

Best regards!

3.5 mm jack stereo is what it says on the packaging of the adapter. Additionally I see that the speakers' jack has two black rings on it, which I think means it's an TRRS jack. I believe this information is significant too.

Ok
2 black Rings is TRS !

You need this one and it should work :

Does it mean that TS minijack needs different socket than TRS minijack?
I'm asking because it is not specified on the adapter's package whether it is a TS or TRS minijack socket. It just says 3.5 mm jack stereo.

Minijack stereo = TRS
So it should work.

I discovered that while playing music from e.g. Spotify or Soundcloud and having Beatmix plugged in as a soundcard, the sound slightly improves when I stick one cinch into the master output socket and touch the second socket from the outside with the other one. I can hear the snares and vocals then. When they're both sticked into the sockets I can't hear that.
But I can't hear a thing on the headphones when playing music from a source other than Serato.
Thanks for helping me, by the way ;)

I think there is a Problem with the Adapter. Inside maybe a short circuit ? Is the 3,5 Jack right the whole way IN ??

Yes, it is. I think I'm going to try another adapter. Perhaps the one I purchased has some kind of defect.

Ok, problem solved. It turned out that the jack socket of the adapter was damaged. I got a new cable and it works fine.
Thanks a lot for taking time to help me!
